I like the way you're building your articles lately, there's a lot of energy in there and I can feel how this energy is starting to shape in a precious matter. Keep up the good work :-)

Dear Stephen, work has kept me away from blog commenting, but I had to stop in and tell you how touched I am by this. It is a remarkable list. A road map for living. All one would have to do is to put it into practice each day. Imagine a world if we each did this. Wow!

I love them all but these two really jumped out at me:
"Ignore Your Critics – If you care what the naysayers think, you will be like everyone else. You’ll be common." That last sentence is SO SO powerful. "You'll be common." That delivers a wallop. Love it.

The other is: "Trust Your Intuition – Your non-conscious mind is much more powerful than your conscious mind." In the context of your recent articles trusting our intuition makes more sense than ever. Those articles are like huge "permissions" for us to trust! trust! trust! our intuition.

Thank you my friend SO much!! :)

Funny you made a post about this. I'd been thinking lately of what I thought was my formula for success and so far the equation I've come up with is:

(Self-awareness + Right Mindset & Attitude + CANI + Consistent Strategic Action + Dream Team + Connection) x Contribution = Success

Notes:
Self-awareness = is knowing the Truth about Who I Really Am and acting from that Awareness. Once I found this, I became absolutely CLEAR about my Purpose, which then ignited Passion in my life. With Self-awareness comes Peace & Gratitude & Love, and with these comes Happiness.

Right Mindset = I learned that ALL my problems are created by me in my mind. There are no 'problems', only situations. I still forget that if I wanna solve a problem all I need to do is change my mind about it.

CANI = Constant and Never-ending Improvement

Consistent Strategic Action = I learned that mere Action is NOT enough. You have to figure out which action works, when's the best timing to do it, how much of it should you do, & which ones to outsource!

Dream Team = I learned the hard way that if I'm hanging out with losers/whiners/gossip mongers, trying to succeed is gonna be an uphill battle.

Connection= quality of our relationships with ourselves, other people, nature and our environment. I need to remind myself that I am ONE with everything

Contribution = I can only give what I have, and the more I have, the more I have to give. I learned that the best way to serve others is follow Gandhi's wise advice: Be the change I want to see in the world.

It's a work in progress, of course. I expect it to change as I refine and learn more.

@Sherri, Thanks for your comments. I believe I left out persistence. I can't believe it. Thanks!

@Lisis, Of course! How could I forget that one. Defining what success means to you is foundational.

@Jonathan, you are correct. We can all do better at all of these. I wish I could say I practiced every one of them consistently. :-)

@Clement, thanks so much. Like defining success, action is foundational. Sheri also mentioned persistence.

@Marc and Angel, thanks for stopping by and thanks for your support.

I don't THINK I'm being cliché here, but I sure feel like I am but here goes right :)

ACTION
PERSEVERENCE

Those are the only qualities that I think you need to be successful in anything. Of course, from those qualities come others, but in my view these are the pillar two.
